Explore the world of clay in this 10 week combination wheel and hand building course. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class welcomes all levels.
During the course, you'll dive into the fundamentals of working with clay by hand as well as throwing on the pottery wheel. We'll cover how to refine your pieces through trimming and attaching handles and more.
Enrollment Notes:
Open Studio Time: Students are allowed 4 hours of Open Studio per week. Weekly open studio time is non-transferable. Studio time is available Mon-Friday 9-5pm, Sat 6:30-8:30pm, Sun 9am-8:30pm
Make Up Classes: Students may take up to 2 makeup classes per semester in a comparable class. If a makeup class isn’t possible, additional open studio time can be arranged
Firing fees: 0.6 cents per cubic inch per firing
Clay: Each student receives one 25 lb bag of clay as part of the class tuition. Any additional bags will be available for purchase for $30 per bag. Reclaim is also available through the studio.
Tool Kits are available for purchase
Students must be ages 18+ for Adult classes

To request a cancellation and refund, you must email: Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within 14 days of the first class are 50% refundable. There will be no refunds 48 hours before the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session.
