This is a 10 week course. If you are familiar with the basics of wheel throwing but could benefit from a review and more time to hone your technique, this course is for you. Instructors will work with students to strengthen foundational skills.
Prerequisite Note: If you have not taken a wheel class before, please start with beginner level. Advanced and intermediate students are welcome.
Enrollment Notes:
Open Studio Time: Students are allowed 4 hours of Open Studio per week. Weekly open studio time is non-transferable. Studio time is available Mon-Friday 9-5pm, Sat 6:30-8:30pm, Sun 9am-8:30pm
Make Up Classes: Students may take up to 2 makeup classes per semester in a comparable class. If a makeup class isn’t possible, additional open studio time can be arranged
Firing fees: 0.6 cents per cubic inch per firing
Clay: Each student receives one 25 lb bag of clay as part of the class tuition. Any additional bags will be available for purchase for $30 per bag. Reclaim is also available through the studio.
Tool Kits are available for purchase
Students must be ages 18+ for Adult classes

To request a cancellation and refund, you must email: Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within 14 days of the first class are 50% refundable. There will be no refunds 48 hours before the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session.
